KIPS - Advance Lever Broken

My KIPS Advance Lever is broken at the bend for the pin mounting point. (See photo below.)

Question-Has anybody ever welded these or does the lever have to be replaced?

Bikebandit part number 600066-001, about $15. Just get a new one, and next time support that shaft when you take the LH thread nut off the top!

Get a new one. I would not take the chance of it failing and causing damage to other parts that would cost more $$. As julien said "$15"
