After having to pull the clutch side off to replace this little monster, I am curious now how this actually works. It looks like the shaft just rides between two spring-loaded "disks"...the part I can't figure out is what causes the disks to move and thereby rotate the shaft and valve. Is it centrifugal force, heat, or what? Anybody? I do know that if you completely assemble it and decide to play with it some more, you can easily pop it out of position in the disks and have to redo it...again... :ugg: Mental note to self : "the "L" is for left hand threads and always read the areas pertaining to your project in the manual first, not last."
