My boy needs a new bike.
He is at that age and size where there is just not much to choose from. I put him on a KX65, but it is too tall.
He has been on a Husky 50 since he was 5 and is 8 now. He is a bit big for the 50, but can absolutely dominate it. It is fun to watch him ride.

I need to decide between the Honda 70 and the Kawi 110. I'm leaning towards the 110.

I just need to keep him on wheels for a few more years until he can take my wifes KX100, and then he is on his own.

What do you all think?

I would be inclined to go with the 110 then, he would ougrow the 70 pretty quickly at 4'.

Always good to have a consensus

I bought a KLX110 Saturday. The boy thinks its the best thing since Coco Puffs.

I have a feeling the wife is going to take to the 110 and we will have a seamless transition for the boy from the 110 to the KX100. She does O.K. on the KX as long as we don't get into anything technical, then she falls apart.

This thing has a pretty massive transmission, makes it tough to kick through for him. That's O.K., he can't ride without a Parental Kick Start

I bet there are all kinds of upgrades, modifications, performance enhancers, and other ways to mess up a perfectly ridable bike and drain the wallet.

Seriously though, it looks like this has a lighting coil? Is it possible to put a headlight on it? I'm going to take the Bark Busters off his Husky and modify them to ft these bars, or is there a set made already that fits?

(Time to start searching the internet for misinformation and half-truths:)
