KLX300 Light Removal

Has anyone ever removed the light assembly and replaced it with a number plate? I'm thinking about buying one and I would like to give the bike more of a "MX" look. If so, is there a kit for this? :eek:

A KX 125 or 250 number plate will fit fine, in fact there is a hole tapped in the upper triple clamp behind the light for the plate to attatch. If you really want it to look MX, replace the rear fender with a MX-style fender, it looks much better.

KLX Spode.. What did you do about the number plate hitting the shrouds? Or did you replace your shrouds?
