I know, I know... I have seen the threads before, with doctored up photos of DRZ motors in KLX frames. WELL, we know that there are now YELLOW RM60's, RM65's, and RM100's. I was browsing the net and found this site by pure stumbling.
It is definately foreign by the prices shown, but they show the KLX400 and KLX125, with new graphics, doesnt look fake to me.
. I dont really know how to post the link, so just go to the site below....

Loos legit to me.....even a green version of the Z-400 wheeler.

I really don't like this Kawasaki/Suzuki merger thing. I think its total BS. Its an easy way out for both companies, not to mention boring and predictable. I was kinda hoping to see a 400 class machine based on the KLX300, instead we get this lame copy of a DR-Z.

Its just.........weak, man.

yeah, when they announced the merger less than a year ago, they said it was to share R&D together. They denied that there would be GREEN plastic on a YELLOW bike, but said in future years, they MAY build a joint bike.
Looks like the only off road bikes they arent sharing are the 125's/250's!!! (kx and rm).
**** In the future, if the entire suzuki line is the same as the Kawasaki line, just different plastic colors, your right, it will get boring....

I say call them SUASAKI's and offer them in yellow or green! ;)

I prefer to call the Kawasukis. They might be the only KLX400 we can get. i have raced cross-country events against DRZ's on my KTM 300 and they were able to hang right with me, so the bikes can get up and go pretty good. they might be a little heavy and need stiffer prings front and rear, but so did all 3 of my KLX's.

I happen to agree with you guys that it's BS. The only thing that seems cool, is that if you arent into yellow, you can go green. Im sure all parts are interchangeable, and thats sweet since there are tons of aftermarket parts available for the DRZ. I also wonder if there will be a dirt-only model.

I'm sure there will be. I believe that all (or most) off-road bikes sold in Australia are street legal.

Don't you mean in the magenta...? assuming we are talking CMYK. Or are you saying more blue and green to lessen the yellow... if we are talking RGB. LOL :aj:

ps-That DRZ/KLX in blue is making me ill! Stop, please! :whiner:

Nope, they're actually for real. Well at least in Australia. They're in the mags over here and dealer brouchures.

I think what everyone is saying here is that the merger between them is BS. Kawi should have developed something a bit different instead of just changing plastic.
The photos are believable, and you just confirmed it. Thanks.

I remember RC saying that he went to Honda as the Green machines had no competitive 4 stroke on the horizon(MX bike) I think that the green and yellows are doomed in sales here in Australia. We never accepted the clone cars & utes we got in the 80's and 90's. I also remember seeing that the 2nd biggest market for KX's was Australia after the US. Not too many of them out there

Honda bring on the red 250F ;)

I was in my local Kaw dealer on Monday and my inside source showed me th promo sheets from Kawasaki on the KLX125 and the 400. They will be on the dealer floors by the end of June. The 400 is the non e-start dirt only version. There is also supposed to be a 450 mxer due in Sept.

Somehow, I've managed to stay oblivious to this until now, this is the first I've ever heard of it. What's going on? Will there be two colors of every model? Why did they do this? Could someone please explain this to me, and the logic behind it? So, now, there will only be the 'big 3' Jap bikes? Dissaponting...

I too am disappointed in the merger of R&D. From the big 4 to 3, oh boy. All these years I've been waiting for Kawasaki to come up with there own answer to the 400cc thump war, now they're sleeping with the enemy! Well, so to speak.

I told myself I'll replace my KLX300 when a KLX400 comes out, but not with this green DRZ...onto a KTM400EXC... :silly:
