i was wondering what bore applications anybody has for the ktm200sx. i need the 200cc cylinder for a certain class, but i want the extra displacement for tracks where i run the 250 class. kinda like two bikes in one. thanks

im sure some porting from eric could change that maybe. what i was really wanting to know is what sizes that they have. i know a dead on 250 kit probably isnt availible, but i was hoping there was something maybe above 235...so if anybody knows what sizes are availble, let me know. thanks a lot!!

I havent heard of any big bore kits for 200s. But I havent really checked into it. How about putting the sx cylnder and head? or are they the same as exc? The 200 sx only makes about 38 hp on the dyno, about the same as my 144. I would think that eric could get 3or 4 more hp out of it.

212cc is it for the bore on the KTM200 but you can go to about 220 with a bore and stroke combo. The problem is the KTM parts are so friggin expensive that you are looking at close to $1000 for that 20 cc increase.

yikes. not really worth it then. i guess ill just go with a port job and ride it a little harder! im guessing that there arent a lot of aftermarket parts out there that make a big difference on the KTM, they come with good exhausts, then they are stock with the v-force cage. do you guys know of any bolt on parts that really wake them up? thanks a lot for the info rich!

Porting is still the best bang for the buck on these engines. A 2mm overbore is a close second.
