Ok....last stop before sending my bike to the shop. Having loss of top end...I.E. sounds like its still cold, rev limiter...but runs like a BULL low and mid-range. Powervalve stuck or not opening all the way. Before I take the cover off...what should I be looking at for replacement parts if needed. Is there a gasket there? Or can I use a liquid seal? Does the valve come out? Or does it have to be cleaned in bike, and if so...whats the best way and what to use to clean it? I know the dangers of having foreign objects fall in the cylinder.
