hi ive got a ktm 250 sx 2005 model, and ive just noticed an oil leak either coming from the shift change seal or the front sprocket seal.
is this a common problem and anybody have any tips on doing this job? thank you

It is most likely coming from your countershaft seal behind the front sprocket. There is a seal, a metal wear ring, and an O-ring that needs to be replaced. All three parts need to be replaced or the leak will not stop. It is a very common ailment on a KTM. Take the front sprocket off and it will be pretty evident what needs to be done
