Ktm 250 Sx

I had a chance to ride a 2002 KTM 250 SX a couple of weeks ago. This thing was quick on the track, and felt real good. A lot stronger than my kx. Was wondering if anyone else had ridden one. I am thinking of picking one up. Also anyone ridden the new 520 SX, and if so what are some thoughts on the 250 vs the 520 for motocross.

Charlie, I have the 02 250 and the 01 520 SX. Yes the 250 is very strong. I would say that the 250 is more exciting and is as powerful as my previous 300's, third gear corners and many holeshots. The 520 is a nice change but is still like an open bike. The 250 will tire you out more, it is very busy. If you only can have one bike and you are in decent shape I would suggest the 250. The 520 is awesome but a steady diet of big 4 stroke is not as appealing to me.
