I need some opinions here. I currently have a 00 gasgas ec 200 and I love the bike. But getting parts for it are getting harder and harder, and i want a 4-stroke.

Im thinkin either the ktm rfs 250, or wr250f. The wr is alot cheaper, so I could use the money to mod it. I am not going to be racing, mostly trails riding, and open feilds etc. Is it worth the extra money for the ktm?

Getting parts for you new bike will be easier but will it cost more? Will you need parts very often? With a 4 stroke, yes but with a 2 stroke, most likely not. 2 words. Simple engines. A EXC250 or a KDX would be easier to find parts for and are low maintinence. I've heard good things about GasGas esp. the Pampera. I'm not trying to make up your mind for you. The WR would be more common as far as buying used and would be cheaper too.
