Hey guys. Im new to the forum and to bikes. Ive ridden quads forever and recently bought a used 2007 KTM 250 xcfw from my dealership. It was bone stock with 10 hours and a good price so i couldnt pass it up. The problem is throughout every gear any time you get into the throttle hard it chokes and dies. I took it back to the dealership once and it seemed to be better, but once i got on the trails it was the same. I took it back in and they told me that every KTM has that problem and there was nothing you could do about it? Needless to say Im not thrilled with them and they must think Im a complete moron. Anyways just wondering if anyone had any ideas on the jetting or carb problems like this before? Thanks

I had one of those and it needed some tweaking in the leak jet circuit to get rid of the bog problem. You might want to buy a JD Jet kit that comes with several leak jets and the 0-ring mod.
Try the KTMtalk jetting forum for more input.
