I have an FMF Powercore II silencer on my '01 300 MXC and am happy with results. Compared to stock, it's a little louder, but not much. It has more of a raspy, works-like sound than stock. It makes the power a little livlier and snappier than the stock silencer, particularly in the mid range. It also offers a decent weight savings over the stock stovepipe.
It makes my 360 'bark' a little more. There's definately a stronger mid-range hit, and it tucks in behind the number (side) plate real nice where it's protected, unlike the stock 'bazooka'.:D
