I only questioned the amount of oil you used because I wanted to make sure you put enough oil in the gas.
With a two gallon can you probably used a little less the half of the bottle of oil correct.

It does appear that the rod bearing gave up. It was probably worn out when you got the bike.

oh i think its a PDF file, but i do not have the program to open it ! First i have to download it ! So you think this really big metal thing, which is IN the crank shaft, is maybe from the lower rod bearing ?

can anybody tell me how much this will cost me ?? Because i have no program to open the file! Ok i will bring the bike to the KTM specialist so that he will install my new crank shaft but i will install the cylinder and piston by myself ! Becaue i'm not a rich boy ;) !!! Ok then, i will have the new things in my bike, but it can happen again ! Because i did nothing wrong ! Thats really bad! :ugg:

Thanks again timr, for the pictures !

hi

today i got this big metal thing out of my crank shaft! And now the crank shaft is o.k. ! May be its not ok, but tomorrow i will build the cylinder, piston, in the KTM ! And then i will try to kick it! but i will run it just for 15 seconds, hope the cylinder and piston is ok! So that i don't have to buy an all new motor! May be its running perfect ! I will see! "pray" for me and my KTM ;)

I wouldn't do that. If the "big metal thing" is part of the rod bearing you could trash the cylinder and piston in 15 seconds IF any part of the bearing goes up into the piston.

You need to take the engine to someone who knows what they are doing to at least have it inspected.

Kanadia,

listen to what Layton said and follow his advice.
At the moment you have to expect a bill of around 200,- $ parts plus labor.
Start that engine without having the problem solved and you can easily make that 500,- $ just for parts.

yes, you're right, but i just want to check if the piston and the cylinder is ok! because i dont thinkt that is works ! The piston and cylinder are already trashed ! but if not, i can rebuild the engine without a new cylinder!

but hey i won't give it to a ktm specialist, its easy to change the crank shaft, its not a big deal, i did it once!

mhhm i wanted to fill gas in the crank shaft, and now i am looking for a screw, so that i can let the gas outside, you know what i mean? To wash the whole thing!

tomorrow i will wash the cylinder and the piston!

but thanks for the advice i will think about it! :clue:
