KTM has one leg doing the compression damping and the other leg , the rebound -- which boils down to largely uneven forces on each leg. Does it reallly matter ? I just installed a set of .38 springs and they're too stiff. I removed a set of .36s which were too soft. Instead of spending another $85 to "try" the .37 rate can I just replace one of the .38s with one of the old .36s ? ? ? --Put the .38 on the brake leg as there's more moving mass there ? ?
Hell Most Trials bike manufactures used to use or are currently useing different spring rates in each leg some split the dampers one fork rebound and one fork compression, Hell older Betas and Gas Gas's only have one spring and the other leg is for the oil and dampening so I sa have at it and play with it a while
