I picked up a great box of goodies today from a friend of mine that sold his ktm and needed to get ride of his extra's. In it was a powercore 2 silencer for a 98 380mxc. I have a 98 125exc that I have converted to motocross and was wondering what would happen if I tried to put the powercore silencer on it. Currently their is a fmf turbinecore 2 silencer on the 125 and it's pretty restrictive with the spark arrestor. Any opinions count. Thanx.

It's highly unlikely that your spark arrester is affecting how your bike is running. It flows fine. If you put the other on, it will make no difference unless the existing one is super clogged. Also, a silencer from a 380 won't fit a 125.

The whole point of a spark arrestor is to be restrictive. Reversing the flow of the exhaust seems pretty restrictive to me. Thats just what I've been told.
