KTM Sag Settings

I purchased a 2001 KTM 250EXC and am curious about setting the sag with the linkless PDS rear suspension. The owners manual only gives info on adjusting the spring preload with the rear shock off the bike.

What are the sag specs for this bike and how do I make the adjustments ??

What spring do you have on the shock right now..
A lot of people reccomend getting your total sag to under 100MM

Sag is at 112mm (just under 4.5in) and I've adjusted the shock spring preload nearly 1/2in with no change to the sag readings. The bike has the stock spring and we're trying to set for a 195lb rider. Not sure what rating it is. This is why I'm asking the question. Am I dealing with an under rated spring or do the KTM's adjust differently.
