KX 500 Suspension Settings?

My current bike is a 2000 KX500. I weigh 220 lbs. The terrain I ride in ranges from fast, open fire roads to tight trees. Most of the terrain is fairly hard packed and rocky. I am a fairly fast and agressive rider.

Given the above, what suspension settings should I use (shock spring weight, fork spring weight, damping etc.) I have never taken the time to dial in my suspension and I am hoping that by doing so I can improve things. I'm sure losing a few pounds would help too. :) Any suggestions/info would be greatly appreciated.
