I am putting new fork seals in a 2003 KX-65, was wondering what weight of fork oil to use, the service manual gives a kawi specific type but doesnt say what weight, Im replacing with MOTUL fork oil just need to know what weight to use? Also How to measure the Oil level with out a special tool, and do you measure from the bottom of the tube. Thanks!

team green says use 10Wt for all the weight categories.

That does not mean 5wt is not correct for Frudaddy's rider. Depending on your riders weight and ability you might like the softer feel of 5wt.

I'll elaborate on the clear hose... idea. since your looking for 130mm you make the hose longer than 130mm. hook a syringe to one end. mark your 130mm line on the hose and droop the hose in the fork compressed without spring like mentioned. then fill with oil until over the inserted end of the hose. then suck out all oil above the hose by pulling the syringe out.
