I resently found a line on a mint kx 250 motor, its a 97 or 98, cannot remember right now. I was thinking it would be a great replacement for my tired KDX 200 motor, but am unsure of how this conversion would turn out. I've tried to search through this forum for a KDX 200 turned into a 250 but the seach produced no valid responses. Im looking for someone who has done this and can tell me what all would be involved in the swap and whether its worth it, as i dont want to be left with a motor-less bike in a month when the snow is all gone.
