I have heard that retarding the timing on the KX100 can soften the hit a little. Has anyone done this to their bike and did it really make a difference?

Also.... I know how to adjust the timming, but.... do you turn the stator clock wise or counter clockwise to retard the timing?

Thanks for the input.

The stator has to be turned in the direction of engine rotation to retard the timing. In this case with you facing the ignition on the left side of the engine it would be counter-clockwise to retard.

If I had thought about it, I could have figured that one out. But thanks fof the info. Now I know for sure.
