Did anybody ever try a KX250 pipe on a KDX?
Any opinions on how it worked. The pipes seem real similar.
Is the head tube to the cylinder the same size per chance?

Thanks

1996+ KDX motor
Probably a 99-02 KX250 pipe
No, my pipe is fine.
I suspect the KX250 pipe would fall off as fast.
I have a feeling the KX250 pipe would fit better in my case.

I don't know about that, the KX250 is no revver either. It's a midrange engine and falls flat pretty quick on top.

I think the KDX spigot is a smaller diameter than the KX250?

Is that a KDX pipe on the bike now? It looks like it fits very well. Nice looking conversion.

yea but it took some fab work to do it. The Stinger (slides on to the silencer) on the KX250 is the same size as the KDX200.

The KX250 revs a bit higher than the KDX. Thhe KX250 head tube looks longer. I hate the idea of iusing a new plated pipe and cutting and welding it. It would look like ass. I have a feeling th KX250 pipe would almmost bolt on PLUS it would clear the radiators. I would nnot have to dent them to clear the, like I did with the KDX pipe.
