About 3 weeks ago I went to do a top end on my son's 2006 KX65 and discovered the piston was scored and the connecting rod has lots of play. So I tore out the motor and had it rebuilt (top and bottom end) and then went through the rest of the bike cleaning and polishing, greasing and replacing everything that needed it (serviced shock and forks, greased wheel bearings, etc.). Below are the pictures of the fully assembled bike. You will notice the frame is green instead of the stock silver. One of my friends said he would paint it for me and ended up treating the thing like it was a Harley or something. The green is leftover paint he had that cost $300 a pint, and then he put some coats of clearcoat on top of it. I had to take pictures because I know my son is going to wear it out!
