You're almost right.
Midwest Action Cycles (great frickin' guys, by the way) has already gotten the chain guide block to me. They've got the swingarm slider on its way from Japan. Can't say enough good things about MAC--great prices and great service.
It's difficult to imagine the wear and tear on the chain guide till you can compare your current block to a new one. Wow. We were just starting to get wear on the aluminum part of the chain guide. It was certainly time for a replacement. The swingarm slide has a few more days left in her, but not many. I hope it arrives before next weekend. I'm surprised no one on the aftermarket side is making replacements for the KX65. There are thousands of these bikes out there.
Care to take a stab at answering my other question? What's the minumum serviceable length of a 2002 KX65 fork spring?
Thanks,
deadhead
