OK, stocking up on spare parts and I need to know what you guys think is the best clutch kit out there for the KX85. I found a deal on a Barnett carbon fiber kit and wonder if it will hold up to the rigors of weekly racing?

Hi - last time we changed ours we put on an EBC kit - they work great. The stock replacement kit includes heavy duty springs which are essential. kawasaki springs don't last more than a few races with a quick rider aboard and you can often be fooled into needing to replace friction plates when there's no need. If you only have stock springs try putting a fairly thick washer underneath each one. We found that works great - but dont do it with HD springs or the clutch action becomes too heavy.
