kx85 or kx100

ok im 13 years old and im 5'1" 100 lbs
i want to know what bike i should get being my height and everything what will i fit perfect in im thinkin about the kx100
give me your alls opinions

the 100 would be better. they are almost the same size, so why not go bigger. If you wanna save money, you could almost buy the 125 now, and wouldnt have to buy another for awhile.

They're almost the same bike, so it really wouldn't matter. I'd get the 85, just because the seat height is lower than the 100, and you would probably fit a smaller seat height just being 5'1.

It would be impossible for him to ride a 125 because of the seat height. he said he is only 5'1.

I have a 13 yr old who is 5'4 and i have a 15 yr old who is 5'8. the youngest has an 04 yz85 and the oldest has an 02 cr125. The 13 yr old can ride the 125 but he is to short to start it on flat ground, so he is not comfortable on it the bigger bike. Just make sure you can resell the bike for what you paid for it and ride the 85 for a year, for free. When your ready, sell it and place that money towards the bigger bike.
