saw a photo of a KXfourstroke in a dutch magazine this week; it came without any text. Looked very much KX but sure has 4-stroke headers and a ?too small muffler (compared to other 4's. Sure was'nt a klx. Sorry, no scanner around for the moment and i have to for a week of spectatorship at the isde in france. later.

It wasn't the one BBR built by chance? This was KX frame and plastics with KLX engine. Check out this pic: http://www.bbrmotorsports.com/Bikes/Bike16/Bike16.htm

We all hope Kawi is going to get in the game since thumpers are becoming the game. However, it's hard to keep the faith when the KLX hasn't even gotten basic fixes (idler gear, shift star) much less a pumper carb during it's entire 8 year life.

The KAW sales rep in my area claims the RFS from Kawasaki will be a 2003 model.

The Honda rep claims Honda has a 250 just about as far along as the 450 , which makes sense if you think about it. Fonseca on a 450??? , 250 a lot more likely.

Didn`t Fonseca point out of 125 SX , which means CR250 or 450 for SX.
He can still run 125 outdoors , CR125 or maybe CR250F.

edit: I guess he could stay 250 mounted for the outdoors too , but it wouldn`t be likely.

Ernesto has a east coast and a west coast championship in the 125 class, (supercross) he is not ready for the outdoor 250's yet. He has never really gave the 125 leaders a challange in the outdoor's Nat.

RFS can be used as a generic term for any high performance 4stroke dirtbike. KTM has no patent on the name. Makes for less typing ;)

Didnt KTM "coin" the phrase RFS ? Or Husaberg? Maybe even Husky.

I doubt it was a Jap MFG.

Actually the bike I always wanted Kawasaki to build was a updated KX500 with the perimeter frame..........That would be my next bike no doubt about it....... Seems like I saw a concept bike or something like that somewhere?

:D OK guys, just tonight back from the ISDE in France; had a great week as a spectator and while listening via internet radio to the last MX (DELMONT) all the way here in the Netherlands, I read the reply's. For one: my picture is not the BBR that's behind the given link. For example: the waterpump is higher up in front of the lower half of the clucth cover and the clutch pin/actuator bulb on the cover is missing. OK, one picture ..... Maybe tomorrow.
Saw loads of 4-Stroke in France, like Husky 250 E-start, TM 250 E-start (2002 said the guy sitting on it). Also later.
