A buddie saw on the internet somewhere that La rocco fell off a roof and broke his pelvis and will be out of action for a long time has anyone else herd this?
Also I herd yesterday Ricky Carmichel tore up his ACL bad and is out for the SX season? Also herd it happened while he was riding a CRF450? :(

That's the first I heard about The Rock. I hope it's nothing more than a rumor. Maybe he was doing the next dangerous thing to riding Supercross, hanging up Christmas lights! lol! :)
And for RC, yes he is out indefinitely. And he tore up his ACL without even crashing, while riding the big thumper, which he still plans to race when he comes back.

Haven't you been reading the Wind Tunnel thread, Ricky stated he was not switching to the 4-stroke until the outdoor season. So if he hurt his knee practicing for SX it would have been on the 2-stroke.

Racer X reported that RC was testing the 450 last week with plans on using it in SX this season. That was before they reported he was out with the ACL injury.

I heard that before too, either on this Forum, or on RacerX. It might have been in the "RC-Out" thread.

Ok here it is, originally posted by "zcookie49", page 2 of the "RC-out" thread:

"No doubt Rc has to be hatin...I just read that Kehoe stated that the injury was pre-existing, and that RC didnt crash on the thumper, just aggravated it more, to the point that the ACL needs reconstruction.... Does that mean that he has been racing all along with a bad knee? If so, he is one tough SOB."

Let see, RC himself said he was not going to run the 450 until the outdoor season, RacerX said he was switching to the 450 for SX.
Hmmm? You're right, RacerX is a much more reliable source.

Dude it was all over the net that he was in a panic because Kdub was turning faster laps at the test track so he was testing the thumper.

RC said his piece on Wind Tunnel over a month or so ago. The Racer X stuff was breaking news last week as RC changed his mind.

RC said the Nationals at a time when he thought he would only do the 4 stroke at the Nationals but times changed.

super rat--is that true? Seems like an irrational move to me. KW used to spank TP in practice (last yr of SX/Suzuki), but was a wet noodle come racetime. (TP and KW both confirmed that Kevin even lapped him once). I can't imagine anyone thinking a thumper would be an advantage (yet) for SX. Kevin's dedicated to that bike, and just frankly fast. He'd possibly be faster on a 250.

Nephron check it ; http://racerxill.com/pages/news/news_112603.cfm

I think RC really felt like he didn't have the speed to run with Reed and maybe kdub so he was trying somthing different. I even read that he didn't want Kbud at the test track while he was testing. It sucks with all of the injuries I bought my tickets for Phoenix and now I don't know if I want to make the trip, maybe I'll just go to two nationals this year.

You gotta be kidding me right? After all the jumping up and down you made me do to get my money out of you.

I was talking about the SX, I'm prety sure we will see a thumper win a outdoor title this year.

ok, like it matters if your riding a two-stroke of four-stroke when you have an unlimited budget. if someone wins a national championship on a thumper they would have won it on a two-stroke. what you should really watch is your local pro class, the person that won my local 125A championship won one a stock yz250f(ok, he had triple clamps and renthal bars, but thats it) against some very trick 2smokes.
