If you haven't already shown support for the people in the Klamath Basin who are losing their livelihoods due to no water for their farms, because of the Endangered Species Act, then read this and participate !!

Final Phase of Virtual Bucket Brigade!
Please Act Now!

Dear Friends,

The Pioneer Press Virtual Bucket Brigade is in its final phase. We have nearly 50,000 individuals and businesses currently listed in support of the farmers and ranchers in the Klamath Basin. Our goal is to reach 100,000, which is absolutely attainable with your help.

If you have not submitted your name and city in support of our ranchers and farmers, please do so now by sending your name and city to:

pioneerp@sisqtel.net

Then, please help us go one more step by forwarding this message to everyone in your e-mail address book.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED YOUR NAME, please DO NOT resubmit it.

You may want to consider, however, asking a few family members and friends if you can submit their names. Imagine, if everyone sends us JUST 2 MORE NAMES, we can reach our goal of 100,000.

A little background:
This amazing support began with approximately 15,000 people showing up in Klamath Falls, Oregon for the initial Bucket Brigade. Farmers and ranchers in the area lost 100% of their irrigation water when a judge cut it off to give the water to the sucker fish, which is listed under the Endangered Species Act. Our small weekly newspaper in northern California was asked to list the names of individuals and businesses which weren't able to be there in person, but still wanted to show support for our neighbors and friends. I decided that I would dedicate as much newsprint and ink as needed in our little paper to make this a reality. Soon, we began hearing from thousands of folks across the country and around the world. The Pioneer Press has already published two editions of the Virtual Bucket Brigade with the first batch of names and will publish the last batch over the next two weeks.

There is NO COST to have your name listed in support of our farmers and ranchers. It is absolutely FREE to let the nation know that you want to help SAVE RURAL AMERICA.

Thank you for your support.

God Bless You,

Daniel Webster
