Hey all! Sorry if this has been discussed previously, but I did a search and didn't come up with much. My fuel petcock has been difficult to turn pretty much since the day I bought the bike. After only a month or so I was getting a small drip or two of fuel around the on\off\resv lever when turning the fuel on. Now it is much more than a drip and I am concerned. A buddy of mine has the same problem on his 520. Is there a known problem with these petcocks and is there a good fix beyond just replacing the o-ring, etc.? Has anyone had any success with an aftermarket or other manufacturer for a replacement petcock? I would love to have one that turned easier :whiner: Thanks!!

Ask BIGLOU how he fixed his 01 KTM250exc petcock. His did the same thing.

My '00 250exc is hard to turn too, but it has never leaked.

If it is still leaking you can drain all the fuel out and take the petcock off, then you can use a old rubber tube and cut it to the size of the petcock. Put the nessesary holes in it and it should stop leaking!!!!!
