I once taught a 7 year old boy to use a clutch. I also got a 10 year old girl comfortable enough with one to get the bike moving and stopped. Of course, some people never seem to get it, despite it's simplicity. If you have a decent understanding of what it does, and how, you should pick up on it fairly quickly.
Pretty much if you understand the clutch and how it works, and you jump on the bike and do it slow, you will stall the bikes a couple times thats fine, it will feel weird to use for about a week, after a week of riding it will just become second nature to you and you wont even think when your using your clutch you will do it on impulse, just practice practice practice
I just started riding dirt bike recently on a cr250 and found that after just a few days that it was as easy as using the brakes only for a different purpose.
