The draw of your bulbs and filiments exceeds the output of your stator, plain and simple. Look in your manual for the output. Your rear bulb is probably pulling 25 watts when the brake is on, plus the headlight is either 35 or 55 watts. If you have a 55 in the headlight then replace it with a 35. This should help. You may have to go to a bike shop to get the bulb as most autoparts stores carry 55 watt H4s. One last possibility is you have a short in the brake light wiring you did and are bleeding off your power to some sink. Re-check your work if you find the manual says the stator has sufficient wattage to drive your total bulb load. TexKDX.
