I live about 5 minutes from there.. and yes they have started issuing tickets after 20 years of not doing anything to the semi-illegal place.. Now only dual sporters which includes rail buggies can go (The ones that do the most damage) because they have a license plate.

What BS. The rail buggies and trucks have that place so carved up yet they close it to bikes? Come on...What is the world coming to? Do people Blindly make these decisions? I bet it comes down to the almighty dollar. If they use state money for it then state registered vehicles can use it.

Most of that land is private property and we all have been trespassing, the owners finally made the rangers do something about it. The place you can go there with a plate is the road, that's it.

I've never ridden there, but pals of mine told me it was in hideous condition. Folks throw every sort of trash imaginable on the trails.
I understood it was quite a sty.

I would want the a-ho's off my land too.
