Looking for some help on picking a dirt bike

1) I'm about 5'7 and 125 pounds
2) I will probably be agressive with the bike
3) I will do some trails, jumping, and maybe race
4) I dont have experience but i know how to work the clutch and i want a fast bike
6) My dad will help me work on the bike
7) I want a Honda or Yamaha and I'm not sure about 2 or 4 stroke
9) I am looking to spend about $1000 canadian on a used bike
11) Im 15 years old

Today, 1000 Canadian is $905 US. That is not alot of money for a bike. Rule #1 - Bikes are money pits. Rule #2 - There is more to the cost of riding that just buying a bike. At the very least, you need a good helmet and riding boots. I would recommend you save at least 1500 Canadian, which is about $1350. Buy a used helmet and boots and a top brand, such as Honda, Yamaha, Kawi, Suzuki, KTM. I would look at an older XR. The power delivery of a 2 stroke may be too much for your inexperience.
