low end

ok so i have been reading a bunch of mx shootouts and reviews and etc. and they say this bike is good in the low end this bike is good in the mid end this bike is good in the top end. what gears fall under low mid and top?

im guessing

low= 1,2
mid= 3,4
top= 5,6

It`s not about gears. It`s about the power and torque and where you can find it( on low RPMs = good low end).
