Low Tranny Oil

Would low tranny oil cause a spark plug not to spark? Ive tried out two different spark plugs and they wont spark, but realized i didnt tighten the oil nut good enough and it was leaking.

no it wouldnt. tranny oila nd the electrical system are completely separated. Unless you have a sensor that senses you have low tranny oil and stops the bike from starting but i hily doubt that.

+1, says 96 rm so theres no sensor.

How do you know your not getting any spark? How are you checking? just curious.

plugging the in the spark plug with the end against metal, and kicking it over by hand.
