Magnum billet/Perf. Eng. baskets

Anyone know if these are made by the same company by chance?

I ordered a PE basket and recieved a Magnum billet brand from Magicracing.com. The packaging has what seems like part #'s for both brands on it..

Anyone have experiance with the Magnum brand? Should I bitch and send it back, or keep it hoping it is as good as the P.E. brand?

Never heard of Magnum as a brand, is it a Vortex Magnum basket? If it's a Vortex I wouldn't have any concerns.

Not sure.. it doesnt say "Vortex" anywhere on the packaging..

It has two labels:

Magnum CU590 Billet clutch basket Suzuki: RM125 1992-2005

and on the bottom:

Performance Engineering BCB3001 RM125

Both labels are under the outer plastic wrap like they were put there when it was packaged originally.

Not sure, the ones I was referring to would be branded as Vortex with the model being a magnum. I'd call the company and ask although the way it was labeled leads me to believe you wee likely correct about PE marketing the basket under two different names.

BTW I edited your photo to a link as we try to limit the width of photos to 800 pixels wide.

Ok, I am going to go ahead and give it a shot, if anything I can give a report on the product in the near future good or bad.
