Well i got a new crankshaft due to mine being damaged, so its time to reassemble for the second time. What I am wondering is can any damage be done to the main bearings when the crank is removed? I assembled my engine with all new bearings, but had to strip it back down before completion due to a damaged crank. I carefully pressed the crank out of the cases using the harmonic puller that I used to seperate the cases..... the bearings stayed in their positions in the cases, what I am unsure of is this fine and no damage would have occured to the new unused bearings? or should they be replaced everytime the crank is removed regardless thanks

Your bearings should be fine - glad to see you avoided the "beat-it-out" method of disassembly !
