MI passed Public Act 240 of 2008 which enables Counties to adopt a local ordinance allowing ORVs on county roads. Many counties have opened some or all of their roads to ORVs. Some have different speed limits, some only allow certain roads.
I've put together maps that show which roads are open, according to the posted ordinance, as well as the trails in that county; copies of the ordinances including special notes and links to each county. Sort of a "1 stop" for all your PA240 Needs... (all free stuff, PDF maps & more).
