I have a KTM 02' 300EXC, right now I have a S12 up front and a M12 in rear. the terrain I ride in the majority of the time is lose topsoil with hard under pack. It seems to me that my rear tire is slipping a lot in the lose stuff around burms and such, or maybe this bike just has to much power. How would the S12 rear compare to the M12? I heard the S12's don't last that long, because of the soft material, and that rocks just chew these tires(S12) up. Any info would be helpful.
Thanks Little Jeff

The S12 rocks, I've gotten excellent life out of them, but they chunk on gravel/rock. They work exceptionally well everywhere else.

Several of my riding buddies are liking the Maxxis IT over the S12 and its about $18.00 cheaper on Rocky Mountain over the S12.
