Mid 80's KX 125 questions...

I found a guy with a KX125 from the mid to late 80’s (I’m not sure the exact year yet) and he is trying to unload it for $500. It has a recently rebuilt motor and is suppose to be in good working order, except for the front brakes. I was told it needs a new rotor and he is not sure what else (if anything) to make it work.

My question is how much would a rotor be? Also does anyone have a general idea how much a caliper/master cylinder would be (just incase it has to be replaced)? Also is $500 for a 15-year-old bike a decent deal? Also are parts for a bike this old easy to find?

The Titax brands are decent. At 49.00 how can you miss?

 

500.00 for anything that runs can never be a bad deal. I would check the cylinder out as close as you possibly can. The Kawasaki's I had during this area always seamed to have damaged cylinders.

yeah i think thats one of the ones with an electrofusion bore (methinks?) ....
Dont know when they stopped that (anybody know?) or what, guess you could always sleeve it with somethin better ....
