Does anyone have a good resource for finding out the exact dimensions of various nuts and bolts on a Yamaha? Due to a general lack of interest, time, and places to ride I've decided to sell one of my bikes and I need to replace some small things like that. I want to avoid being gouged by high prices at a dealer though.

Yeah i know just what to do. Go to: http://www.bikebandit.com

THen look up you're bikes year, make, model, etc and find the parts schematics that have the nut or bolt in them. Then price the items using they're pricing system..when priced...the list of items will show their size, diameter, etc. I'ver used this site to find bearing sizies so I can go to the hardware store or online and buy bearings cheaper.

Is there no Yamaha equivalent of the www.buykawasaki.com website so you can see parts diagrams?

Hmmm so all you have to do is ask? Well then anyone got one similar for Suzuki? I really used to love using that buykawaski site when the kid had a KX.

Not sure if it will help, but Yamaha has online parts catalogues (www.yamaha-motor.com)...

There are some Suzuki diagrams on the www.bikebandit.com website.
