Here's one shot with the 30D. I left the exif intact so you can see the settings.

All in all I didn’t like the 30D too much so I returned it. Everyone says once you have a pro body, you will never go back. Well I guess they are right… Looks like I’m in the market for a MarkII again.

I thought for sure someone would comment about this shot being at ISO 3200 and turning out not too bad.

I just saw it now, and for 3200 that is awesome. I had a brutal week at the AX this week, most of my 1600 stuff is garbage and my 420 flash started acting up. Time to take a look in the mirror and figure out what the heck I was doing wrong.

Here's a few more. Other than an AX I shot last year, this was the worst lighting I have shot in. All the 1D shots are at ISO 1000.

We all have bad days Doug. Sounds like it was your time. You'll do better next time by learning what you did wrong.

As for the 420 -- I feel your pain. I will have a 580 for the Toronto SX for sure. Might also look into a battery pack.
