Hi. This last fall I cleaned my top end and used a Moose gasket kit on the install.I thought twice about using the rubber exhaust gasket but had no patience to wait for a oem gasket(it's a metal crush ring).Bad move.Pulled my pipe today to replace a lower pipe mount and you guessed it......no rubber gasket. The small piece I found in the pipe was chewed on.I found no pieces in the silencer(TCII)This leads me to believe the rest is in the crank and everywhere in between.Has anyone else had this happen to them and did you pull the cylinder to clean up the mess? Thanks for your comments and it's ok to laugh.I'm trying to right now!

Are you sure it was not an o-ring for the pipe?

All I have between my pipe and cylinder is a FRP Torque Ring

Yep.The pipe O-rings are black. The exhaust flange gasket in the Moose set is red.The OEM flange gasket looks more like a torque ring I suppose.H model KDX.
