More air for the 520 exc

Can anyone suggest a proven method of getting more air thru the airbox. It does appear fairly enclosed. Thanks wazza:)

The factory Europe 520s have holes(1") drilled through the airbox sidecover, and then 1" filter inserts, that are readily available are put in them and oiled. I plan on doing this to my bike. I know a lot of you may be thinking--what about water? Well if you are going to be doing a lot of water crossings, then buy an additional sidecover that is not drilled, for those wet rides:think
