While I enjoy riding my dirtbike and it's what I ride most often, I also like to ride my mountain bike. I live in Trail, BC, 6 miles from Rossland, BC, which has some of the best trails in the world, rated up there with the north shore and whistler. Anyways, I'm looking at getting a new bike for freeride/downhill and maybe a little bit of Cross-country. I'm on a budget (my dirtbike uses up most of my money) so it has to be fairly inexpensive. I've narrowed it down to 4 bikes, Norco Sasquatch, Norco VPS 4x4, Brodie Bruzza or Brodie Brute. Do not suggest any other bikes, please. What are your opinions on these bikes? Thanks.

Norcos and Brodies are Canadian made, both really big up here, along with Devinci. I'm leaning towards the Sasquatch, as it is fairly cheap yet has sweet components. The VPS 4x4 is sweet, but is also $2000 cdn, where as the Sasquatch is $1400 and the Bruzza is $1300.
