Dad sounds like he might be a good source.

But in general, you won't have to wind it out to get power, you can rely on the better low end torque of the 250F. Also, letting off the gas in the air is almost as good as hitting the rear brake to bring the front end down.

Hey. How do you sit on the bike? I'm around 5' 3" to 5' 4" and I couldn't even get close to tippy-toeing on one foot with my friends freshly broken-in '03 CR125 during the summer. It's the only thing that held me back from getting a 125. Instead I got a RM100 and am 50/50 about my decision. I really wanted to go to a 125. Is the bike lowered or all stock?

I fit just fine on the bike. it has pro action suspension so its not the stock susp. im not flat footed but i touch the ground on both sides. it is the perfect size. i can fit the same way on the 125s. my friend said that the kx 100 is a very small bike is the rm 100 the same? is it about the size of an 80.?

The RM100 IS a KX100 if you get technical. Suzuki and Kawasaki merged (Kawazuki...lol) so Suzuki picked up Kawasaki's 65 and 100. They are the exact same bikes, just different plastics. It's about mid-way in between the 80's seat height and the 125's seat height. I had a CR80 before that, and the 100 is about 1.5 to 2 inches higher than that and 1.5 to 2 inches lower than my friends CR125. My friend rode the CR125 once at a track and it's sat since...so maybe when riding season comes around and the tracks open up i'll ride it for him...you know...to keep it from gumming up hehe. Still though, I wish I would have got a 250f that day. According to the Kelly's Blue Books (Or whatever it's called) my RM100 is only worth $1900 US where as we paid $3250 US for it out the door. I've only put about 4 hours on it too, so it's pretty much useless to sell it. What to do what to do...*Sigh*

ya..well i guess the only thing you can do if you dont like it is just wait till you have enough money and sell the 100 and get a new bike.
