i think he might be out of town for the weekend, but if i remember from reading his tuning posts i think he used a thinner base gasket and either a thicker, or two head gaskets. I belive the issue is to lower the port timing with the base gasket and this improves the low to mid (similar to Erics machining work), but since the stock compression ratio is pretty good then the head has to moved upwards with the thicker head gasket to keep the compression the same.
Lets see what he says when he gets back! Sorry i couldnt be of more help, my yamaha uses o-ring head sealing so we cant do these tricks and have to get the head machined etc.
