Wow, is this confusing.  I was looking over the Mill Creek MX site, to get info about this weeks race.  I took a peak at the class list and it looks very interesting.  Here it is:

<TABLE width=480 align=center>
<TBODY>
<TR>
<TD vAlign=top width=180>50cc Shaft --- 4-6yrs
50cc Stock --- 4-6yrs
50cc Shaft --- 7-8yrs
50/60cc Open --- 4-6yrs
60-65cc --- 7-9yrs
60-65cc --- 10-11yrs
60-65cc --- Preteens
80-85cc --- 7-11yrs
80-85cc --- 12-12yrs
80-85cc --- 14-15yrs
80-Open --- 9-15yrs
80-105cc --- Super Mini
80-125cc --- 12-15yrs
0-125cc --- 4-stroke
125cc --- C/D
250cc --- C/D
16-24yrs B-D/ A
Mini-Quads
Quads --- 4 stroke
Quads --- 4 stroke
Hobby/Novice
125cc and 250cc Pro
Unlimited Amateur

There appears to be 14 classes that are set up for kids on bike of various diplacements.&nbsp; That I can understand.

Furthermore, I feel that 125cc and 250cc PRO is pretty self explanitory.

Here's where my confusion lies.&nbsp; I don't see 125 A and 125 B and 250 A and 250 B.&nbsp; Are these not classes anymore?&nbsp; Does it seem silly to&nbsp;anyone else to have C and D with no A &amp; B.&nbsp; What's the difference between C/D and hobby/Novice?&nbsp; Sounds like the&nbsp;same thing to me.

The other night, I called Domino's to order a pizza.&nbsp;&nbsp;I said I'd like a small mushroom pizza.&nbsp; The kid on the other line said: "We only have medium &amp; large."&nbsp; I chuckled and said give me the medium.&nbsp; I hung up the phone and turned&nbsp;to my wife to say: "In order for there to be a medium, doesn't it have to be in the 'middle' of something?"&nbsp; If you only have medium and large, isn't that really small and large with nothing in the middle?

Does anyone know the meaning of all of this?&nbsp;</TD></TR>

That list is misleading. Mill Creek has all the age classes (16-24, +25, +30, +35, and +40). They also have a Pro-Am class, which is an open class for the really fast guys and pays the top 3.

They have 125 and 250 B, C, and D classes also.

They also have the Hobby/Novice class, which is for woods guys and other air chickens. Anyone can run the class on any bike, but jumping doubles is forbidden. I'm always in that class. ;)

125A and 125B 250A and 250B are seperate classes but the run together as a unlimited pro amateur they are the fast guys.it makes a lot more interesting
than having it broke down into smaller races.Normaly you can look forward to about 400racers on race day.

I have found that there's at least two pro's in every class around here.
a lot of these track/races arnt AMA races so the classes vary and confuse me to.

Ours seems so simple
125 junior
250/open junior
125 senior(sometimes ride with 250 senior/open &nbsp;or 125 expert)

250 senior/open
125 expert
250/open expert(all experts together if not many riders)
12-14 years olds class(any bike)
then again we rarely get more than 200 riders.
