See, I knew you were just trying to hide that KTM envy since I let you ride my 525 last year at Ocotillo! :thumb: Sweet now you're a full fledged member of the pumpkin brigade. You'll be having so much fun on the KTM the blue one will be sold within six months.
I don't know how much you've ridden the 300 yet but I've also got a 300 and a 250f. Every time I ride one it becomes my favorite until I ride the other. I don't know how much longer I'll have both though and I'm really not sure which I'll be letting go. Both excellent bikes. :thumb:
It scheduled to be here Friday! Can't wait AAAAUGH it's only 9:43 AM on Tuesday :whiner:
Seriously I was debateing for a long time between the crf450 and the KTM 300. I rode both back to back at our last race and was still undecided. I decided to go for the 300, a) because I wanted to try the orange brand. b) the 300 felt lighter, c) I already have a great 4 stroke, d) I got a smoking deal. :thumb:
D) was the clincher.
If it does come it Firday it'll be out riding on Sunday. :thumb:
You'll like the versatility that 300 will offer. Great bottom end. The 'Euro' handling might seem a bit odd at first, but once you get used to it you'll love it. The big bore KTMs are a 'sit up on the tank, slide the rear wheel' riding style. Enjoy!
P.S. To go faster in the tight stuff, short-shift the motor. It took me awhile on the 360 to figure that out!
