The silencer on my 2013 YZ250 is euro spec, its very long. I think they made the diamater a litte bigger on the euro specs, not 100% sure.

anyways, i found this on ebay, i think it might be a 304 factory sound. it came off an 02, which i understand will work on my 2013. i got it for 35 bucks shipped, so i thought why not try it, ive read where people thought it made the yz250 feel more snappy off the bottom.

im going to repack it and install new rivets.

do you think i will need to rejet? i will be using the stock expansion chamber.

Looking up your plugs as it now and then I would do a 10 minutes ride and look at the plug again. It darker maybe OK if gray of white yes.

With the stock expansion chamber things shouldn't change too much, but you should always check your running the right mix if you want the best out of the bike after any changes, even a noticeable change in weather can affect the running of a bike due to density of air
